ca. 1810-1830 Cotton, Linen and Wool Probably Berks or Montgomery counties Source Unknown 2004.0176.01 The printed cotton used in the side sections of this cap, and the wool challis of the crown are attached to a linen foundation. It is constructed using linen thread, which points to an earlier date in local areas. The cap originally had blue silk ribbon ties. |
