Art Weekends at the Meetinghouses
Enjoy a weekend of making art at the Heritage Center and offsite at the Schwenkfelder Church Meetinghouses with our Museum Educator Rebecca Lawrence and your fellow artists.
Discover how artists preserve and interpret the history and culture of the local area through discussion about our special exhibit of George Bockius's work Scenes of the Perkiomen Valley, work alongside other artists in our community off site at a Meetinghouse location and back at the Heritage Center.
While the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center is affiliated with the Schwenkfelder Church, the property belongs to the Palm Schwenkfelder Church. The SLHC has received special permission to bring guests to the property.
All participants must be very respectful of the Meetinghouse and cemetery grounds. An overview of the cultural and historical significance of the grounds will be part of the program.
Fees and restrictions: $75 fee, must bring your own painting and drawing materials, media restrictions apply
Maximum enrollment: 20 participants
