Children's Literature Collection

The Children's literature collection housed in the classroom of the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center features a small collection of juvenile literature from the 19th-21st century. It is comprised of fiction and non fiction juvenile and young adult literature, organized by subject and themes related to our archive and museum collections.

Books have been primarily organized for thematic teaching purposes. The collection is non-circulating, although teachers and homeschool parents may request a copy to loan, for in classroom purposes before or after a trip to the Heritage Center. Email our educator to request a copy.

Children are welcome to read in the classroom, Library or gallery spaces, however, books may not leave the premises of the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center.
